I'm glad Hits 1 didn't completely give up on The Emptiness Machine, even if it will only last a few weeks.

Billie Eilish brings us the enivitable third single from HMHAS from the abyss, and it's pretty good. This is one of the slower songs on the album, but it has great evolution. I feel like there was definitely some better single choices, but I'm not mad about this one.

Hit-Bound
Myles Smith - Wait for You (7)
JENNIE - Mantra (Debut)
Henry Moodie - good old days (3)
Hayes Warner - ZIP (Debut)
Kylie Minogue - Lights Camera Action (3)
Knox - Invisible (5)
LISA - Moonlit Floor (2)
Ava Max - Spot A Fake (4)
Damiano David/Labrinth - Silverlines (3)
Halsey - I Never Loved You (Debut)

Balu Brigada - So Cold (3)
Dasha - Bye Bye Bye (5)
Jelly Roll/Halsey - Take A Bow (Debut)
Jon Bellion - KID AGAIN (3)
Teddy Swims - Bad Dreams (5)

Joining LISA, JENNIE is releasing a new solo single too. Mantra is pretty good. The production is awesome, and Jennie sounds good as well. I hope this does something.

Hayes Warner is back after Predator, and ZIP is a pretty great song. Hayes sounds pretty good, and the production is amazing. Hopefully this does better than Predator.

Halsey is back with presumably the last single before The Great Impersonator, and it's really good. People are comparing it to The Tortured Poets Department, and I can definitely see that. As a major swiftie, I'm super happy about that. Halsey sounds great, and the production is great too.

Halsey makes a double debut, but this time as a feature on a Jelly Roll song. This one's pretty great as well. Jelly Roll and Halsey compliment each other surprisingly well, and the production is good.

Exits:
Coldplay/Ayra Starr - GOOD FEELiNGS (1)
Nightly - every part (2)
Morgan Wallen/ERNEST - Cowgirls (2)
Natalie Jane - Somebody to Someone (I Just Wanna Fall in Love) (4)

Good riddance to everything but GOOD FEELiNGS, that one deserved to debut.

Notes:
- We only lost Mamushi and A Bar Song (Tipsy) this week. ABS(T) had a great run, and Mamushi did too for what it was
- You know there's no action in a week when the biggest jump is +5...
- Why did Heatstroke fall?
- I really hope Ego can rebound, it's such a great song.
- Welp, Stargazing is back to where it was 2 weeks ago, just floating around in the top 15.
- I hope Die With A Smile comes for the #1 at some point.
- Why was it such an uphill battle for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart to get to the top 5? I'm super glad it did, but it should've gotten there a month ago.
- I hope BIRDS OF A FEATHER gets to #1 after HOT TO GO!
- Speaking of HOT TO GO!, it held at #1 this week. It should stay for a couple more weeks, then give the spot up.
