Lizzo released another new song last week called Still Bad, and I think this is on par with Love in Real Life. Lizzo sounds as great as she usually does here, and I really like the production as well. This reminds me of her last album, and I mean that in a good way. I hope this does well, but also doesn't sabotage Love in Real Life.
Chappell Roan finally released her song called The Giver, and it did not disappoint. I really love the country production here, and I think it suits her really well. She sounds amazing here, and I really love how the whole song is so cohesive. I hope this does really well, and I have no doubt that it will. Hopefully it will keep Chappell's streak of #1's alive!
Doechii has been having a great year so far, and Anxiety is yet another example of that. This song is actually from 2020, but it was remastered and released to streaming after it went viral. I'm so glad it got released, as I really love this song. Doechii sounds really great, and the Somebody That I Used To Know sample works amazingly here. This song is just so fun, and I really hope this does great.

After two years, the Jonas Brothers are finally back with solo material, this time with Love Me To Heaven. I really like this one. All three of the boys sound good, and the production is fantastic. I really like the bridge on this one as well. I hope this does better than Slow Motion, as that one flopped surprisingly hard.
sombr makes his Hits 1 debut after back to friends missed Hit-Bound, this time with undressed. I actually quite enjoy this one. sombr sounds great, and the production is really fun. I hope this does well, especially since back to friends was ignored.
Jon Bellion is back after KID AGAIN flopped, and WASH is almost as forgettable. The production is good, and Jon Bellion sounds pretty good, but I won't be coming back to this one.
Selena Gomez and benny blanco just released their collab album I Said I Love You First, and we have Bluest Flame from it here today. This one is produced by Charli xcx, and I think this was probably one of her leftovers. The production sounds like something directly off of BRAT, and I mean that as a compliment. My problem with this is that Selena really doesn't work on this type of production. I think this should've stayed with Charli.
Next up we have JENNIE, and like JENNIE is definitely my favorite debut this week. I love JENNIE's rapping, and it just flows so smoothly. I always love her voice, and this song is no exception. I also really enjoy the production here. This is currently exploding on Spotify, so I really hope it debuts.
Newcomer Ravyn Lenae brings her first song to Hit-Bound, and Love Me Not is just not my thing. Ravyn's voice is a bit annoying, and I wouldn't really listen to it by choice. I do really like the production on this one. I hope this grows on me, which I think it might.
Finally, we have a collab that probably should've already happened. Jack Harlow and Doja Cat finally collaborated on Just Us, and it did not disappoint. I really enjoy the production, and Jack's verse is pretty alright. Doja's verse is amazing though, and I really would like a solo version of this song. Just release the album already!
Dropouts:
Justice/Tame Impala - Neverender (6)
Ryann - Dirty (2)
JISOO - Your Love (5)
Cil - You're a Liar (You Love Me) (2)
For some weird reason, Dirty may be in the abyss, as it was included on the survey. None of these will be missed, except maybe Your Love.
Abyss
Lady Gaga - Garden Of Eden
Damiano David - Next Summer
Avery Anna - Mr. Predictable
Pitbull/Bon Jovi - Now or Never
Billie Eilish - WILDFLOWER
Eminem/Jelly Roll - Somebody Save Me
Hayes Warner - Oh!
Vella - All My Love
Sabrina Carpenter - Busy Woman
Tyla - PUSH 2 START
The Weeknd/Playboi Carti - Timeless
Notes:
- We lost Mr. Predictable, Timeless, and Love Somebody this week. Mr. Predictable never should've debuted, Love Somebody was starting to fade on me, and Timeless was actually starting to grow on me.
- Can we PLEASE not let DENIAL IS A RIVER flop?
- Why did Not At This Party fall?
- luther has been here for over 1/4 of a year, has been on top of the Hot 100 for over a month, and still has yet to reach the top half of this chart. Why?
- Why did Sailor Song rebound so much?
- RIP Die With A Smile and APT.
- We finally cleared out the top 10/top 5, but do we REALLY need toxic till the end at #6?
- Looks like Bed Chem will probably be our next #1, unless Abracadabra takes it first.
- That's So True got replaced with Pink Pony Club, which I'm not mad about, but I really think That's So True should've gotten at least a week or two more at the top.
Well, that's the end of this post. Thanks for reading everyone! See you in the next one!
