How festive can an album review be? (A Very Laufey Holiday Album Review)
Laufey has a very interesting style of music, so I was very intrigued when I came across her Christmas EP, A Very Laufey Holiday. I originally listened to Santa Baby, and it was pretty good, so I decided to check out the rest of the songs, and it was... you really thought I would tell you? Here's my review of A Very Laufey Holiday.
#1: Santa Baby (5/5)
I really like this version of Santa Baby. Laufey's voice is perfect for this song, and I really feel like she nails this song. The harmonies at the beginning are great, and the production is really fun. I enjoy this one!
#2: Winter Wonderland (5/5)
I once again think Laufey's voice really fits this song. Her voice is really unique, and is great for Christmas songs. The production is really great, and this is yet another really great song off this EP.
#3: Christmas Dreaming (5/5)
This EP has been really good so far! In this one, Laufey sounds good and I enjoy the harmonizing. The production is great again, and I really enjoy this one.
#4: The Christmas Waltz (5/5)
This song is a bit slow, but it is still really enjoyable. Laufey sounds good, and the production is really amazing. The chorus of children is also really nostalgic and enjoyable.
#5: Love to Keep Me Warm (feat. dodie) (5/5)
This is the only collab on this EP, and it's really great. Both Laufey and dodie sound great, and I really like the production. This is a really great duet, and a great way to end this EP.
Overall Score: 25/25 (100%) - Perfect
Favorite Songs: Santa Baby, Love to Keep Me Warm (feat. dodie)
Least Favorite Songs: none
Wow, my first perfect score comes out of this EP! I guess it makes sense, because there were no unenjoyable parts on this. This was a very pleasant surprise, so thanks for reading! See you next time!
(Also from now on, I'll be separating EPs from Albums on the Album Review Scores page because there's NO way this album was better than TTPD)
