On Your Radar: Episode 1

Welcome to my new show, where I put you onto some new music, or just music I've really been enjoying recently! I'll also share my countdown predictions at the end of each post, so I don't crash my posts by having them compete.

Beyoncé - YA YA
I found this one after the Olympics Opening Ceremony, and it's such a bop. It's got the party vibes, and the American spirit too. I love it.

Charli xcx/Billie Eilish - Guess
Charli is adding fuel to the fire of Brat Summer with this remix of her song Guess with another pop staple Billie Eilish. This has such great vibes, and I'm glad Charli is getting her flowers right now.

Pharrell Williams - Double Life
Where do I even start on this one. This has such great vibes and is so groovy. The backing vocals in the bridge(?) are incredible, and overall it's just so fun. Why did Pharrell cook so hard for a KIDS movie? We'll never know, but I'm glad he did.

Jelly Roll - Liar
A solid country-pop song that released today. I love Jelly Roll's voice as always, and the production is awesome. I find this one so fun.

Jane Remover - Flash in the Pan
A song that reminds me of Artemas' i like the way you kiss me and even to an extent Tommy Richman's MILLION DOLLAR BABY from earlier this year. It's a great song to drive to, and I love the vibes.

Jimin - WHO
A really fun k-pop song that will soon be pushed to Pop radio. I love the production and Jimin sounds really solid here.

BLOND:ISH/Stevie Appleton - Never Walk Alone
A really fun indie-pop song that gives off great summer vibes. I could see me jamming to this on a road trip or something like that.

MJ Lenderman - Joker Lips
A really enjoyable indie-rock song that even gives off a little bit of country. The production is super enjoyable and MJ's voice really tickles something in my brain.
