#4: Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe! (23)
#5: Billie Eilish - BIRDS OF A FEATHER (21)

Morgan Wallen starts off this week's countdown with Love Somebody. This is his most pop-friendly song yet, and it's pretty good. The production kinda sounds like Training Season, which is a good thing. Morgan's voice isn't too bad here either. I hope this has more success than Cowgirls.

We now have 3 Blackpink soloists with songs on Hits 1, as ROSÉ joins JENNIE and LISA. She teams up with Bruno Mars of all people for APT. Apparently this is a drinking game in South Korea called Apateu. This song is such a banger. Both of them sound great, and the production is amazing and so catchy. Both of them sound like they're having so much fun, and so am I when I listen to this song.

Hit-Bound
Jason Derulo/Jawsh 685 - Make Me Happy (Debut)
Halsey - Panic Attack (Debut)
Henry Moodie - good old days (4)
Lady Gaga - Disease (Debut)
Akon - Akon's Beautiful Day (Debut)
Lawrence - Whatcha Want (7)
Gracie Abrams - That's So True (2)
JENNIE - Mantra (3)
Gigi Perez - Sailor Song (2)
Knox - Invisible (7)
Damiano David - Born With A Broken Heart (Debut)
Dasha - Bye Bye Bye (7)
Myles Smith - Wait for You (9)
Balu Brigada - So Cold (5)
Hayes Warner - ZIP (3)
Jelly Roll/Halsey - Take A Bow (3)

Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685 are trying to replicate the success of Savage Love with Make Me Happy, and I don't think it'll work. Jason doesn't sound good at all, the harmony is not great, and the production is basic. It feels straight out of 2015, and also painfully forgettable.

Speaking of painfully forgettable, Halsey finally dropped The Great Impersonator, and this is the best she's got? Halsey doesn't even sound great, and the production is boring. Ego is still ten times better than this one combined with all the prerelease tracks.

Akon returns after a LONG time with Akon's Beautiful Day, and this is yet again another annoying song. Akon has way too much auto tune, and doesn't sound good at all. The production isn't great either. I really hope this doesn't debut.

I saved the two best songs for last, starting with Damiano David returning after Silverlines. So far he's 2/2 for me on his newest project, because I love this song too. I love the production, and Damiano's voice has always been really pleasant for me. Also the key change at the end really reminds me of Good Luck, Babe!, a song I also really love.

Lady Gaga is back! Well if we ignore Harlequin and Die With A Smile she is. She's here with the lead single from LG7, and I love it. The production is so amazing, and she sounds really good. This was a perfect song to release before Halloween, as it reminds me of Bloody Mary. Anyways, I hope this does great on here.

We lost Spot A Fake, Lights Camera Action, and Forever Young this week. The latter two are in the abyss, and Spot A Fake was good but destined to not do anything.

Abyss
Charli xcx/Ariana Grande - Sympathy is a knife
Billie Eilish - WILDFLOWER
Chappell Roan - Pink Pony Club
Sabrina Carpenter - Bed Chem
LISA - Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)
Alex Warren - Burning Down
Taylor Swift - So High School
Gracie Abrams - I Love You, I'm Sorry
The Kid LAROI - GIRLS
Chappell Roan - Femininomenon

Notes:
- We lost Sympathy is a knife and WILDFLOWER this week. Both of these weren't singles but very well could become singles, so I expect at least one of these back at some point.
- So Diet Pepsi is doing nothing?
- WE PRAY plummeting is peak Hits 1 logic.
- Looks like Dancing In The Flames is flopping too?
- I really hope Ego isn't done.
- How is Austin still here?
- Looks like I Had Some Help is done. I'm surprised it lasted this long to be honest.
- Called it! The top 5 is looking to be a battleground now, and I'm all for it.
- And BIRDS OF A FEATHER steals the top spot from Taste, earning Billie her first number one. I can't really say I'm surprised, I just thought it'd happen earlier.

Thanks for reading, and see you in the next post!
